Abstract:
A structure of a translation window for outwardly discharging harmful gas at the upper part of a kitchen. A wind board (2) is added on the inner side of a window frame, a hollow cavity (21) is arranged on the upper part of the wind board (2); an exhaust fan (4) is arranged on the upper part of one side of the window frame, the exhaust fan (4) is connected with the window frame through a framework, a gap filling plate (43) is hinged to the lower part of the framework; the method for applying the translation window is that: the exhaust fan (4) is started so that the air in the kitchen can be sucked outside through the hollow cavity on the upper part of the wind board (2); the airflow speed near the exhaust fan is increased and the pressure is reduced, thus the external air with a high pressure pushes the gap filling plate (43) to rotate towards a gap formed by the internal end surface of the exhaust fan (4) and the internal end surface of an outer side translation window (3), the gap filling plate stops upon contact with the wind board (2), and therefore the gap is automatically filled up; when the exhaust fan (4) stops rotating, the gap blocking plate (43) sags under the action of own weight, which accordingly imparts no effect upon normal opening and closing of the window. The translation window has the benefit that: automatic gap filling is realized through the pressure difference of the airflows, in this way, harmful gas in the kitchen can be discharged outwards more effectively.
