Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with an imaging element which has an imaging region for imaging a subject, a setting unit which sets the imaging condition of the imaging region, a selection unit which, from the pixels included in the imaging region, selects pixels for use in interpolation, and a detection unit which detects the subject imaged in the imaging region using a signal interpolated by means of the signal outputted from the pixels selected by the selection unit, wherein the selection unit is such that at least some of the pixels selected on the basis of the imaging condition set by the setting unit are different.
