Abstract:
The present invention provides: a sulfur-modified polyacrylonitrile in which the total sulfur content is 30-55 mass%, and the amount of free sulfur obtained by a solvent extraction method is 0.05 mass ppm to 4 mass%; an electrode active material containing the same; a secondary battery electrode containing said electrode active material; a manufacturing method for said electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using said electrode.
