A superconducting coil device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a spool that has a tubular body; a superconducting wire that has a winding part which is wound around the spool; a spool-side guide part that holds the superconducting wire which extends from the spool, and that is provided so as to extend in the spool axis direction which is the axis direction of the body of the spool; a first guide part that holds the superconducting wire which extends from the spool-side guide part, that is disposed more outward than the spool-side guide part in a direction which intersects the spool axis direction, and that is provided so as to extend in the direction which intersects the spool axis direction; a second guide part that can hold the superconducting wire which extends from the first guide part, and that is provided so as to extend in a direction which intersects the direction in which the first guide part extends, wherein the superconducting wire is composed of a plurality of wires that are connected in series, and the parts at which said wires connect with each other are fixed the first guide part and/or the second guide part.
