Abstract:
A surface mount connector 10 is attached on top of a circuit board 5 having the vertical direction as the board thickness direction. The surface mount connector 10 comprises a plurality of terminals 20 and a housing 30 accommodating the plurality of terminals 20 arranged in a row. Leads 23 that connect to the circuit board 5 are provided to the lower ends of the plurality of terminals 20, and each of the plurality of terminals 20 is supported so as to be able to move independently within the housing 30 in the vertical direction.
