Abstract:
This surface treated steel sheet is provided with a steel sheet and a plating layer disposed on the surface of the steel sheet. The chemical composition of the plating layer includes, in mass%, vanadium by more than 20% but not more than 50%, and the remaining portion includes Zn and impurities. The per-area weight of the plating layer is 1.0-40 g/m2.
