Abstract:
A surgical system is provided with a treatment unit (9) for treating a biological tissue to be treated, a ultrasonic supply unit (3) for applying ultrasonic waves to the treatment unit via an ultrasonic vibrator (23) for generating ultrasonic vibration, a high-frequency power supply unit (4) for supplying to the treatment unit high-frequency power having an output waveform, defined by the basic frequency and the repetition frequency, and a control unit (56a) for controlling a voltage root-mean-square value and/or a crest factor so that the voltage peak value when the output waveform of the high-frequency power reaches a peak is a given value or less.
