Abstract:
In a state in which a command unit (301) has output an open command signal to relays of each of bidirectional switches (1A, 1D) and has output a close command signal to relays of each of bidirectional switches (1B, 1C), thereby controlling the relays of each of the bidirectional switches (1A, 1D) to an open state and controlling the relays of each of the bidirectional switches (1B, 1C) to a closed state, a determining unit (304) of a control unit (300) performs a first determination in which, if a differential voltage between a voltage measured by a voltmeter (12A) and a voltage measured by a voltmeter (13A) connected to the relay of the bidirectional switch (1A) that has been controlled to the open state is within a predetermined voltage range, it is determined that at least one of the relays of each of the bidirectional switches (1A, 1D) controlled to the open state has a short circuit failure.
