Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a swiveling and rocking control device for virtual reality amusement with which it is possible to achieve a natural riding quality and a feeling of immersion into a video while also suppressing VR sickness in a rider when the rider is riding a mechanism that moves in synchronization with a VR video viewed simultaneously. [Solution] A swiveling and rocking control device for VR amusement comprising a riding part, a rocking part, a base part, and a VR viewing device, wherein: the riding part comprises a riding plate and four leg parts; the leg parts comprise a pair of front rocking legs pivotally mounted so as to be perpendicular to the front part of the riding plate, and a pair of rear lateral rocking prevention legs pivotally mounted to the rear part at an inclined angle; the rocking part comprises a pair of drive devices, a pair of conversion parts converting the rotational force of the drive devices into back-and-forth motion, and a pair of power transmission parts transmitting the back-and-forth motion to the riding part; and the riding part is configured so as to rock forward and backward when the pair of drive devices are rotating in opposite directions from each other, and so as to swivel and rock to the left or right when the pair of drive devices are rotating in the same direction.
