Abstract:
A synchronization and delay compensation method between baseband unit and radio frequency
unit. Based on high link between baseband unit BBU and radio frequency unit RRU,
synchronization is realized between BBU and RRU by up and down going time label.
In down going, link delay compensation is realized by two level delay adjustment
between BBU and RRU. In up going, link delay compensation is realized by a baseband
receiving interrupt generated by data driving. The method realizes synchronization
and accurate delay compensation between baseband unit and radio frequency unit.
The method makes that signal between GSM/EDGE baseband unit and radiofrequency
unit can adapt to different transmission protocol. The method also adapts to
data transmission in fixed frame format.
