Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a synchronization method and apparatus in a satellite network, which are used for providing, when a satellite providing beam coverage for an area to which a terminal belongs changes but a cell identifier does not change, an uplink and downlink synchronization update scheme of the terminal for the problem of uplink and downlink of the terminal being out of synchronization caused by a change in the position of the satellite. The method provided in the present application comprises: when a cell identifier of a first satellite cell of the current service terminal is the same as a cell identifier of a second satellite cell, executing a synchronization process of the terminal and the second satellite cell. Therefore, the problem of uplink and downlink of a terminal being out of synchronization caused by a change in the position of a satellite is avoided.
