Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a synchronization signal block indication method and a communication apparatus, which can be applied in an Internet-of-things scenario and used to obtain a synchronization signal block with low power consumption. The method comprises: a first terminal device sends indication information to a second terminal device, the indication information being used for indicating the resource location of a synchronization signal block; and upon receiving the indication information, the second terminal device receives the synchronization signal block from a network device according to the resource location of the synchronization signal block. Therefore, the second terminal device receives the synchronization signal block from the network device with the assistance of the first terminal device, without needing to directly blindly detect the synchronization signal block broadcast by the network device, so as to reduce the number of searches, thereby reducing power consumption overhead.
