Abstract:
A synthetic-aperture radar device according to the present invention is provided with a focal-point-information storage unit (103) for storing a plurality of items of focal point information for determining focal point positions, an image reproduction unit (104) for reproducing radar images corresponding to each of the plurality of items of focal point information stored in the focal-point-information storage unit from a reception signal for radio waves irradiated onto an object of observation from a moving platform and reflected by the object of observation, an index calculation unit (302) for calculating indexes expressing the image formation states of each prescribed area of the radar images reproduced by the image reproduction unit, and a combination unit (401) for combining the plurality of radar images on the basis of the indexes calculated for the plurality of radar images. As a result, it is possible to obtain a clear radar image without using position information for the object of observation.
