Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of suppressing fluffing during a stretching step and minimizing shedding of synthetic-fiber processing agent from a lubrication guide. This synthetic fiber processing agent contains: a smoothing agent (A) containing a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (A1); a nonionic surfactant (B); an ionic surfactant (C); mineral oil (D); and water (E), the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (A1) being a complete ester compound of a tri- to tetrahydric polyalcohol having a C3-6 chain structure and a C8-24 monovalent fatty acid, and the mineral oil (D) being a C10-15 hydrocarbon. Taking the total contained amount of the smoothing agent (A), the nonionic surfactant (B) the ionic surfactant (C), the mineral oil (D), and the water (E) to be 100 mass%, the processing agent contains 30-70 mass% of the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (A1), 10-30 mass% of the mineral oil (D), and 0.4-2 mass% of the water (E). The dynamic viscosity of the processing agent at 30°C is 50–110 mm2.
