Abstract:
Provided is a polyethylene film which has an excellent hand cutting property and also has a good balance between heat resistance and a heat seal property. The film according to the invention can be used suitably as, for example, a soft packaging material, such as a soft packaging material for a retort-packed food, e.g., curry, stew and "oden" (a Japanese food), a soft packaging material for a beverage, e.g., a juice and coffee, a soft packaging material for a snack, a western or Japanese confectionery or a seasoning, and a medical paper for a powdery or granular medicine, or the like.
The polyethylene film according to the present invention can be produced by monoaxially stretching a resin composition comprising a high-density polyethylene, a low-density polyethylene and a polymer having a cyclic polyolefin structure.
