Abstract:
A syringe drive device (11) is provided with: a fixing section (15) which fixes an outer tube (14); a movable holding section (16) which holds a plunger (13); and a drive section (42) which pushes and withdraws the holding section (16) relative to the outer tube (14) in the axial direction of the plunger (13). An internal pressure detection unit (18) is provided with a positive pressure detection switch (63) which detects the internal pressure inside a syringe (12). A determination unit (41) determines the generation of a warning if the positive pressure detection switch (63) is in an ON state when the holding section (16) is in a stopped state. If the determination unit (41) determines the generation of a warning, a display unit (19) emits a warning light.
