Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a system for monitoring a machine tool performing communication with an edge device by using a digital twin thereof, wherein: the edge device requests machining data with respect to an operation of the machine tool from the machine tool in real time by using a different query for each detailed process existing within one machining process and receives data having a preconfigured data format at preconfigured intervals in response to corresponding data among pieces of machining data from the machine tool; and the machine tool generates machining data including at least one of cutting data, movement data, and standby data with respect to an operation corresponding to the query and transmits the machining data to the edge device in real time.
