Abstract:
The present invention relates to systems and processes for distributing coffee to a plurality of consumption locations (A) where the supply of roast and ground coffee beans to appliances for preparing beverages, including espresso coffee and the like, is required. In particular, the systems include reusable supply containers (3) which are used to collect a quantity of coffee beans or a substance derived therefrom, and are suitable for being operated remotely in relation to beverage preparation appliances, for discharging purposes. The supply containers (3) can be associated with respective means of movement (30) so that they can be moved off a transport vehicle (1), and vice versa, as well as into an operative discharging position (I) where they can be connected to unloading means (7), and vice versa.
