Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a seismic isolation device that makes vibration of an earthquake, a vehicle, or the like less transmitting so as to prevent damage to an object mounted on a table or hung from a ceiling or the like, with simple, inexpensive components only. [Solution] The present invention provides a structure in which: a column 2 having a swinging adjuster 2a attached on each end thereof is disposed upright in the center of an upper frame 1 and a lower frame 3; four ropes 4 around the column 2 are tensioned; a guide stand 5 is disposed in the center to contact the ropes 4 from the inner side and restrict the same; the opposing ropes 4 centering the column 2 pull each other to maintain the balance; and even when vibration occurs, the upper frame 1 is maintained horizontally and a force is generated to return the column 2 to the original upright state.
