Abstract:
Provided is an electric wire pressure detection system capable of continuously monitoring the application of pressure to an electric wire. An electric wire pressure detection system 1 has: a sensor unit 2 comprising a tape-like base material constituted by an elastic dielectric, and conductive covering layers respectively provided on both surfaces of the base material; a detection unit 3 that measures the characteristic impedance between the two covering layers that constitute the sensor unit 2; and a recording unit 4 that records the history of changes in the characteristic impedance measured by the detection unit 3, wherein the sensor unit 2 is disposed on the outer circumference of an electric wire W, with one of the covering layers disposed along a side surface of the electric wire W.
