Abstract:
The present invention can provide a tactile sensation generation device, a tactile sensation generation method, and a program with which a user can perceive a fluid in a virtual space as being closer to reality. A VR device (20) (tactile sensation generation device) according to an embodiment is provided with: a finger information generation unit (263) that acquires posture information representing the posture of the wearing part of a person that wears a vibration module (153); a fluid vector information generation unit (264) that acquires fluid direction information representing the direction of flow of a fluid in a virtual space; a comparison unit (265) that compares the posture information of the wearing part and the fluid direction information; and a vibration control unit (266) that controls the vibration of the vibration module (153) on the basis of the result of the comparison by the comparison unit (265).
