Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a tactile sensor using fine droplets of liquid metal, which has both relatively high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The tactile sensor using fine droplets of liquid metal, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a first plate film having a first electrode plate; a second plate film having a second electrode plate facing the first electrode plate; an insulating layer provided on the second plate film while covering the second electrode plate; and a body arranged between the first electrode plate and the insulating layer so as to form a chamber corresponding to the first and second electrode plates such that the fine droplets of liquid metal are accommodated in the chamber.
