Abstract:
The present invention relates to a retractor for periodontal surgery. An instrument for periodontal surgery, which is inserted into an opening in the gums and is used in order to lift up or retract the opening, comprises: a handle of a lengthwise extending shape; first linking sections having first ends linked to the handle, and second ends; second linking sections having first ends linked to the second ends of the first linking sections, and second ends; and blades linked to the second ends of the second linking sections. Here, the handle and the first ends of the first linking sections constitute a first predetermined angle while the first ends of the second linking sections and the second ends of the first linking sections constitute a second predetermined angle, and the first linking sections and the second linking sections and the handle are in the same plane. The present invention provides the advantage that the blades can easily be inserted into the opening in the gums so as to retract the opening even in circumstances involving diverse oral cavity shapes or tooth alignments.
