Abstract:
Provided are a tap changing device with which it is possible to perform tap changing at high speed and quietly, while effectively suppressing an arc current generated between contacts during a tap change, and an on-load tap changing pole-mounted transformer using the tap changing device. The tap changing device is provided with: a tap-up drive unit which performs a tap-up drive for causing a drive shaft to rotate by converting a linear motion of a plunger due to a tap-up solenoid into a rotating motion; and a tap-down drive unit which performs a tap-down drive for causing the drive shaft to rotate by converting a linear motion of the plunger due to a tap-down solenoid into a rotating motion. The tap changing device includes a stopping means for decreasing the rotational speed of the drive shaft gradually when rotation of the drive shaft for performing tap up or tap down once is stopped. The on-load tap changing pole-mounted transformer is equipped with the tap changing device.
