Abstract:
Provided is a tape cassette in which ink is satisfactorily transferred from an ink ribbon onto a film.
[Solution] A tape cassette is attachable to a tape printing device provided with a thermal head. The tape cassette includes an ink ribbon and a film tape. A release layer 163, an ink layer 164, and an adhesive layer 165 are laminated in order onto a ribbon base material 161 of the ink ribbon . An easily adhesive layer 172 is laminated onto a film base material 171 of a film tape 59. When a heated thermal head 10 comes into contact with the ribbon base material from a side opposite to the release layer 163, the release layer 163 is released from the ribbon base material 161. Thus, the adhesive layer 165 of the ink ribbon 60 is transferred and adhered to the easily adhesive layer 172 of the film tape 59. Both the easily adhesive layer 172 and the adhesive layer 165 contain an antistatic agent. The antistatic agent is, for example, an alkyl phosphonium salt.
