Abstract:
Provided is a target for chronic pain treatment, ALKBH5. It is found that ALKBH5 is specifically and differentially overexpressed in pain models, and the reduced expression of ALKBH5 can significantly relieve chronic pains, indicating that ALKBH5 plays an important role in the development and progression of chronic pains and thus provides a new possibility for medication development, prevention, and treatment of chronic pains.
