Abstract:
The present application discloses a task processing method. The method is applied in a computer system, the computer system comprises a user mode and a kernel mode, the user mode comprises a plurality of tasks, and the tasks are threads or processes. The method comprises: in the kernel mode, detecting the type of a first request entering a kernel entry; when the type of the first request indicates that a first task is suspended in the user mode, switching at least from user mode context of the first task to user mode context of a second task, and recording the first task being in the suspended state and the running time from the start of running to the suspension, and not processing other scheduling states of the first task; and running the second task in the user mode. According to the technical solution of the present application, the kernel mode context is not switched, only some scheduling states of the first task are recorded, and other scheduling states are not processed; thus, the content to be switched is reduced, the switching efficiency is improved, and the performance of the computer system is improved.
