Abstract:
This telephone conference system comprises: a conference circuit configured to be able to make a phone call between a plurality of registered telephone devices that are registered in advance; a telephone switchboard that is for storing therein respective telephone numbers of the plurality of registered telephone devices and that is configured to be able to connect the plurality of registered telephone devices to the conference circuit; and a selection apparatus. The telephone switchboard is configured to, when a phone call is made from an external telephone device to a predetermined reception telephone device connected in advance to the conference circuit, connect the external telephone device to the conference circuit and connect, to the conference circuit, a predetermined first registered telephone device from among the plurality of registered telephone devices. The selection apparatus is configured to allow a user of the first registered telephone device to select a second registered telephone device to be connected to the conference circuit from among the plurality of registered telephone devices. The telephone switchboard is configured to connect, to the conference circuit, the second registered telephone device selected by the selection apparatus.
