Abstract:
In the frame of spectacles, a U-shaped joint member (11) including an upper piece portion (12) and a lower piece portion (13) is attached, by caulking or brazing, to the hinge portions (7, 7) on the opposite sides of a front portion, the joint member (11) is formed of a springy material such as a shape memory alloy or stainless steel, the base portion (15) of a temple (10) is clamped under a state of being urged with a resilient force, a shaft (18) is projected from the lower side piece portion (13) of the joint member (11), and the shaft (18) is fitted in a shaft hole (16) provided at the base portion (15) and supported pivotally so that folding operation of the temples fixed to the opposite sides of the front portion of spectacles can be performed without rattling.
