Abstract:
Disclosed are a terminal device and a communication method in which the allocation of a communication address and a slot are automatically conducted even when a frame length is shorter than a terminal ID. The communication method, in which a parent device (100) and a child device (200) use slots to communicate, includes: steps (S203, S204) in which the child device (200) transmits first to n-th request messages respectively including first to n-th child device ID fragments to the parent device (100); steps (S104, S106) in which the parent device (100) receives the first to n-th request messages and transmits first to n-th response messages respectively including the first to n-th child device ID fragments as first to n-th selected terminal ID fragments; a step (S107) in which the parent device (100) transmits an address notification message including the communication address and the slot; and a step (S208) in which the child device (200) sets the communication address and the slot in the communication interface (210) of the child device (200) when the first to n-th selected terminal ID fragments are equal to the first to n-th child device ID fragments.
