Title:
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE AND WIRE HARNESS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/215914
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A terminal-equipped electric wire (1) is provided with: an electric wire (2) formed by coating the outer circumference of a conductor (20) made from aluminum or an aluminum alloy with an insulating layer (21); and a terminal member (3) that is made from copper or a copper alloy and that is attached to a conductor exposed portion (2e) exposed, at an end of the electric wire (2), from the insulating layer (21). The terminal member (3) is provided with: a coating layer (31) that is made from a conductive material and that is formed on a terminal exposed portion (3e) that is other than a contact area relative to the conductor (20), in a surface of the terminal member (3); and an oxide coating (32) that is further formed on a surface of the coating layer (31) and that is made from the conductive material. The conductive material is metal or an alloy, on a surface of which the oxide coating (32) having a thickness of at least 20 nm is formed when 50 g/L salt water is sprayed at 35°C for 96 hours according to a salt spray test specified by JIS Z 2371:2000. The conductor exposed portion (2e) and the terminal exposed portion (3e) are exposed bare to the outer circumferential atmosphere of the terminal-equipped electric wire (1).
