Abstract:
This therapeutic instrument comprises: a first treatment unit including a first member having a first contact surface and a second member having a second contact surface; a moving mechanism switched between a closed position in which the first contact surface and the second contact surface are close to each other and an open position in which the first contact surface and the second contact surface are spaced apart from each other; and a second treatment unit which can be disposed more closely to the tip side than the first treatment unit along a longitudinal axis when the first contact surface and the second contact surface are positioned in the closed position, and applies energy to living tissues to thereby incise or avulse the living tissues.
