Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a thermal insulation element, a battery and an electric apparatus. The thermal insulation element is arranged between adjacent battery cells of a battery, and comprises an expandable layer, wherein the expandable layer has flame retardance, and can expand in a thickness direction after reaching an expansion starting temperature, so as to form an expansion layer. By means of the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application, the safety of a battery can be improved.
