Abstract:
A thermally insulating material for a battery, according to the present invention, is provided with a compression regulating layer and a thermal insulation layer, which are stacked on one another, wherein a ratio of a thickness of the compression regulating layer to a thickness of the thermal insulation layer is more than 0.5 and less than 4.5, and a compressive stress when the compression regulating layer is distorted by being compressed by any proportion within a range of 25% to 75% in a thickness direction relative to the thickness of the compression regulating layer before compression is 0.34 MPa to 3.45 MPa.
