Abstract:
The present invention provides a compressor which is sufficiently suppressed in deterioration due to hydrolysis of an insulating member, thereby being suppressed in decrease of reliability. A compressor (11) is provided with a casing (50), a compression mechanism (20) and an insulating film (86c). A refrigerator oil is retained in the casing (50). The compression mechanism (20) is contained within the casing (50), and compresses a refrigerant. The insulating film (86c) is contained within the casing (50), and is formed of a polymer that has an ester bond. The refrigerant is mainly composed of a hydrocarbon. The refrigerant has a saturation moisture content of less than 0.3% by weight. The refrigerator oil has a saturation moisture content of 1.8% by weight of more.
