Abstract:
With respect to a thermoelectric conversion element, it is desired to provide a new material for converting spin current into electric current. This thermoelectric conversion element is equipped with a magnetic layer that has in-plane magnetization and a photovoltaic layer that magnetically combines with the magnetic layer. The photovoltaic layer is constituted of a carbon material, has anisotropy in electrical conductivity, and contains an additive.
