Abstract:
Provided is a thermoelectric generator with which it is possible to improve the amount of electricity generated. This thermoelectric generator comprises: a heating part having a heating medium flowpath through which a heating medium flows; a cooling part having a coolant flowpath through which a coolant flows; and a thermoelectric element having one surface to which the heating part is attached and another surface to which the cooling part is attached, and which generates electricity as a result of the difference in temperature between the temperature of the coolant and the condensing temperature of the heating medium which undergoes a change in latent heat within the heating medium flowpath. The thermoelectric generator is further provided with a heating medium regulating unit which regulates the pressure or the temperature of the heating medium.
