Abstract:
A three-dimensional display device comprising a display panel, an optical element, a detecting device, and a controller which, on the basis of the detected position of one of a first eye and a second eye, controls the display panel so that a first image and a second image are displayed in a combined manner. The controller is configured to perform: a first shifting process for shifting an active area outward such that the amount of shift increases by one sub-pixel at a time; a second shifting process in which, when one eye is shifted by one sub-pixel, a boundary of the first shifting process is shifted by one sub-pixel at a time; and a third shifting process in which the sub-pixels for a second period are shifted by one sub-pixel, and the boundary is shifted by the number of sub-pixels for a first period.
