Abstract:

A throttle valve opening controller for a marine engine, having a control section for controlling a valve drive section for driving a throttle valve based on a signal from a remote control operating position detecting means, wherein the control section determines whether an operating position is in a trolling region or a hump region and, when determined to be in the trolling region, makes a variation, relative to the amount of operation of a remote controller, smaller than that when the operating position is determined to be in the hump region.
