The present invention addresses the problem of providing a thrust bearing that suppresses flexure of a cover during crimping and makes it possible to accurately set a gap between the cover and bearing washers. A thrust bearing (1) comprises a cover (40) that is arranged so as to cover the outer circumferential surfaces of a first bearing washer (10) and a second bearing washer and holds the first bearing washer (10) and the second bearing washer in the axial direction. The cover (40) has a cylindrical part (41) that is opposite the outer circumferential surfaces of the first bearing washer (10) and the second bearing washer and, at at least one end of the cylindrical part (41) in the axial direction, a bent part (42) that is bent relative to the cylindrical part (41) around the entire circumference. A chamfered part (12) is formed at a corner of the outer circumferential surface of at least one of the first bearing washer (10) and the second bearing washer. The chamfered part (12) is opposite the bent part (42) of the cover (40). The problem described above is addressed by forming a circumferential groove (44) around the entire circumference of an inner circumferential surface at the boundary between the cylindrical part (41) and the bent part (42).
