TIME CORRECTION SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CLOCK, AND PROGRAM

This electronic device contains, at least, an acquisition unit, an input unit, a time-correction-amount computation unit, and a transmission unit. This clock contains, at least, a reception unit, an electricity storage unit, a drive unit, and a control unit. The time indicated by the display unit of the clock is inputted to the input unit. From the difference between the time inputted to the input unit and a current time acquired by the acquisition unit, the time-correction-amount computation unit computes a time-correction amount for correcting the time on the clock. The transmission unit transmits said time-correction amount to the clock by modulating light in accordance with the time-correction amount. The reception unit receives the time-correction amount. The electricity storage unit is charged by power into which the aforementioned light is converted. The drive unit drives clock hands. On the basis of the time-correction amount received by the reception unit, the control unit corrects the time indicated by said clock hands. The control unit controls a charging period for the electricity storage unit and a reception period for the reception unit and receives the time-correction amount within said reception period.
