Abstract:
A time-Wheeler's delayed-choice demonstration device and demonstration method. Demonstration of Wheeler's delayed-choice experiment is expanded to a hybrid system composed of massive particles and massless photons, and mainly on the basis of Raman quantum storage of cold atoms, heralded single photons are divided into collective atomic excitation and superposition of leakage pulses, so that the effect of a beam splitter is achieved. Besides, by changing the relative proportion of a quantum random number generator, the storage efficiency of a second memory type beam splitter and the relative storage time of two memory type beam splitters, the proportion adjustability of the beam splitters can be realized, so that the wave-particle complementarity of light is displayed; moreover, time Mach-Zehnder interference can merge two paths in a single-mode optical fiber at the same time, so that experimental configuration is greatly simplified, and the time-Wheeler's delayed-choice demonstration device and demonstration method which are novel in structure, easy to construct and high in anti-interference performance are provided.
