The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tire testing device. This tire testing device is a drum-type tire testing device provided with: a drum comprising, on the outer circumferential surface thereof, a transparent section and a sensor for measuring the ground contact force of a tire; an imaging device that captures an image of the ground contact surface of the tire from the inner side of the drum via the transparent section; a ground contact force measurement processing unit for measuring the ground contact force of the tire in contact with the sensor; a ground contact surface imaging processing unit that uses the imaging device to capture an image of the ground contact surface when the tire is in contact with the transparent section; and a slide amount calculation processing unit that calculates a slide amount by displacement of a corresponding location in image information of the ground contact surface of the tire resulting from a differing load, said corresponding location corresponding to the ground contact surface of the tire measured by the ground contact force measurement processing unit.
