Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tire testing device. This tire testing device is a drum-type tire testing device provided with: a drum comprising a transparent section on the outer circumferential surface thereof; an imaging device that captures an image of the ground contact surface of the tire from the inner side of the drum via the transparent section; a ground contact surface imaging processing unit that uses the imaging device to capture an image of the ground contact surface when the tire is in contact with the transparent section; an edging processing unit that performs edging processing on the captured image information of the ground contact surface of the tire; a division processing unit that performs division processing on an area satisfying a predetermined condition regarding resolution in the image information subjected to edging processing; a matching processing unit that performs matching processing using the divided area; and a slide amount calculation processing unit that calculates a slide amount using the result of the matching processing and a ground contact surface movement amount resulting from the rotation amount of the drum.
