Abstract:
A tire valve ID registration system comprising: a plurality of tire valves (4) that are respectively installed on a plurality of tires (2a-2e) and that are each configured so as to transmit a radio signal that includes a valve ID and data on tire air pressure; and a receiver (12) that is provided to a vehicle body (5), the receiver (12) being configured so as to receive the radio signals transmitted from the plurality of tire valves (4) and to monitor the air pressure of the plurality of tires on the basis of the plurality of received radio signals. The receiver (12) includes: an ID registration unit (19) that is configured so as to conduct registration operations over a plurality of phases and thereby specify correct valve IDs from the valve IDs included in the plurality of received radio signals and register the correct valve IDs at the receiver (12); and an interruption unit (22) that is configured so as to interrupt the registration operations of the ID registration unit (19) at the end of at least one phase from among the plurality of phases.
