Abstract:
Provided is a tire which suppresses the occurrence of pneumatic failure in a belt reinforcing layer and a belt supplementary layer formed by winding a long strip in the tire circumferential direction and having a portion wound so as to leave space in the tire width direction. A belt reinforcing layer 3 and a belt supplementary layer 4 are formed by spirally winding in the tire circumferential direction a strip S comprising a rubber-coated cord. The belt reinforcing layer has a center reinforcing region 3c and shoulder reinforcing regions 3s in the tire width direction, the center reinforcing region being formed by winding the strip leaving a space, the shoulder reinforcing regions being formed by winding the strip without leaving a space. The belt supplementary layer in the shoulder reinforcing regions is formed by winding the strip without leaving a space, and the tire-width-direction inside end 4i of the belt supplementary layer is located further outward in the tire width direction than the tire-width-direction inside end 3si in the shoulder reinforcing regions of the belt reinforcing layer.
