Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a titanium oxide composition which is capable of increasing the titanium oxide concentration in a mixed liquid. The present invention provides a titanium oxide composition wherein titanium oxide substantially contains at least one metal element that is selected from the group consisting of zirconium and niobium. The content ratio of zirconium relative to 100 of titanium in the titanium oxide composition, namely the Zr/Ti ratio is preferably from 0.03 to 0.8, while the content ratio of niobium relative to 100 of titanium in the titanium oxide composition, namely the Nb/Ti ratio is preferably from 0.05 to 0.8. Since the titanium oxide concentration is able to be increased in a mixed liquid that uses this titanium oxide composition, a large amount of the titanium oxide composition is able to be easily processed by a single operation.
