This to-be-conveyed body is a constituent element of a conveyance device using electromagnetic force as a thrust, is movable in a horizontal direction, and a movable element (218, 220) to which a bottom surface part (214) is provided such that a predetermined gap is formed in a vertical direction with respect to a slide surface (216) of the to-be-conveyed body. The movable element (218, 220) includes a permanent magnet (218) and a cover (220). A gap opposing surface that opposes a gap of the permanent magnet (218) has one magnetic pole. The cover (220) is disposed on a vertically opposite side to the gap opposing surface of the permanent magnet (218). The outermost diameter of the cover (220) in the horizontal direction is greater than the outermost diameter of the permanent magnet (218) in the horizontal direction. The cover (220) is formed from a flat plate. Accordingly, the weight of the to-be-conveyed body that forms the conveyance device can be reduced, and a frictional force between the slide surface (216) of the to-be-conveyed body and a conveyance path can be lower.
