Abstract:
A tool diagnosis system (100) is provided with: a machine tool (1) that machines a workpiece (11); an image capturing device that captures an image of a blade part of a tool (12) attached to the machine tool (1); an image processing unit that subjects the image of the blade part of the tool (12) to image processing; a model generation unit that generates a learned model by means of machine learning in which the remaining tool life of the tool (12) is learned by using, as learning data, the image of the blade part of the tool (12) after the image processing, a machining condition of the machine tool (1), and specifications of the tool (12) and the workpiece (11); and an estimation unit that outputs the remaining tool life of the tool (12) by inputting, to the learned model, the image of the blade part of the tool (12) after the image processing, the machining condition of the machine tool (1), and the specifications of the tool (12) and the workpiece (11). The image processing unit identifies a wear mark by comparing the image of the blade part of the tool (12) captured immediately after the machining with the image of the blade part of the tool (12) captured after rotating the tool (12) at high speed after the image capturing.
