Abstract:
Provided is an improved torque wrench having a torque limiter using a cam mechanism capable of operating more stably and fastening objects with high accuracy. In a torque wrench having a torque limiter using a cam mechanism, a solid cylindrical roller member (14) engages with a cam portion (7) of a cam shaft (8), and a roller supporting lever body (12) attached to a head portion (2) so as to be rotatable about a spindle (16) supports the roller member (14) such that the roller member (14) can rotate. The roller member (14) is pushed toward the cam portion (7) by a spring force transmitting rod (18) urged by a torque setting spring. In the roller supporting lever body (12), the distance (r2) from the spindle (16) to the point of action of the spring force transmitting rod (18) is longer than the distance (r1) from the spindle (16) to the roller member (14).
